This leather koozie template is a simple pattern for making a leather can holder designed to fit standard beverage cans. The free PDF template provides a clean layout for cutting and assembling a durable drink holder that keeps cans insulated and comfortable to hold.
Commonly called a koozie or can cooler, this leather drink holder is ideal for everyday use, gifts, or small batch production. The template is sized for standard beer and soda cans and works well with vegetable-tanned or chrome-tanned leather.

Leather Selection Suggestions
In this video we used 7.5 – 8oz vegetable tanned horse fronts from Cordovan.co. This design is designed specifically for leathers with thickness in the 7-8oz range. If you decide to use a leather that is thicker you may have a little trouble getting the can in and out of the holder. If you decide to use a leather that is much thinner, you may have too much slack around the can. This project is suited for any kind of leather you choose as long as the thickness is correct.
