Accessibility at MAKESUPPLY

MAKESUPPLY wants its project instructions, patterns, downloads, and tools to be usable by as many people as possible. We are actively reviewing and improving this website with WCAG 2.2 Level AA as our accessibility target.

What we are working on

Our current accessibility work includes:

• Keyboard access and visible focus indicators for navigation and interactive controls.
• Clear page structure, headings, landmarks, form labels, and link names.
• Text alternatives for instructional images.
• Readable color contrast, text resizing, and responsive layouts.
• Accessible behavior for downloads, calculators, menus, forms, and embedded media.
• Automated checks and manual testing during site development.

Known limitations

This website includes a large collection of older project material. Some image descriptions may still need editorial improvement. Some older downloadable PDF patterns and third-party video or social-media content may not yet fully meet our accessibility target. We are addressing shared site barriers first and then reviewing older content over time.

If a file or instruction is not accessible to you, we will make a reasonable effort to provide the information in another usable format.

We aim to respond promptly and prioritize barriers that prevent access to instructions, downloads, or contact options.

Ongoing review

Accessibility is an ongoing process rather than a one-time certification. We will review important templates and customer paths as the site changes and prioritize problems that prevent people from navigating, obtaining a pattern, or contacting MAKESUPPLY.
