Weaver Leather Supply

Overview

Vegetable-tanned leather at Weaver Leather Supply

Weaver Leather Supply has a dedicated vegetable-tanned collection with natural tooling leather, dyed leather, strap and bridle options, and larger hide cuts. Its product and collection pages list formats including panels, belt blanks, shoulders, sides, and hides.[1]

Some listings name suppliers such as Hermann Oak and Chahin. Do not assume the tannery on other leather unless the collection or product page identifies it.[1]

Service details

Cutting and edge-preparation services.

Weaver’s service collection lists strap cutting, lace cutting, edge rounding, strap creasing, and straightening the back edge of a hide. That does not mean every leather qualifies for every service. Check both the service listing and the leather product before ordering.[3]

Standard strap cutting applies only to a hide purchased from Weaver. Provide the requested widths and instructions in Order Notes at checkout. If the order includes several hides or strap widths, make it clear which instructions go with each hide. Once Weaver cuts the leather, it cannot be returned.[4]

Order planning

Shipping and returns.

United States orders

Weaver publishes shipping coverage for the contiguous United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and APO or FPO addresses. Carrier choices, transit estimates, and eligibility may change for oversized, restricted, or expedited shipments.[5]

International orders

Weaver accepts international orders for eligible products and destinations. Prices are in US dollars, and the recipient is responsible for duties, taxes, import fees, and destination restrictions.[5]

The general return window is 30 days, and merchandise must still meet the policy’s condition and packaging requirements. A hide altered through the standard cutting service cannot be returned. Shipping and handling costs may not be refundable either.[4][6]

When this supplier may be worth comparing.

Potentially useful if you need

  • Samples before purchasing a larger cut.
  • Natural tooling leather or finished strap and bridle leather.
  • Panels, belt blanks, shoulders, sides, or hide-size formats.
  • Strap, lace, edging, or creasing work on qualifying leather.

Confirm before ordering

  • Whether the exact leather and weight qualify for the requested service.
  • How cutting changes the original hide and return eligibility.
  • Usable dimensions rather than relying only on square footage.
  • International restrictions and total landed cost.
