This notebook case is designed to fit standard size A5 notebooks. There is a little bit of room for wider or thinner A5 but the standard height needs to be the same. If you are using the PDF template set please note that it is designed for PRINT ONLY. You will not be able to edit the files. If you would like to have the unlocked version of the PDFs as well as the laser source files please purchase from the SOURCE FILES link. It also comes with a print ready PDF. Both of these digital options come with stitching holes marked if you choose to use them.

Before You Start
Since the main body panel is much larger than a standard sheet of paper you will need to combine the first 3 pages into the finished pattern. You will do this by cutting along the dashed lines and aligning the scissors icons with the corresponding number. You can see an example of this in the photo below.

Leather Selection
In this video we used 2 different leathers. The exterior is Valdibrana Concerie, Tarano (classic brown in 4.5 – 5oz). The interior is Valdibrana Concerie, Tarano (medium brown in 3.5 – 4oz). We suggest up to 5oz range for the exterior if you go lighter on the interior. Otherwise 3.5oz – 4oz range for all pieces is a good universal weight.
Guidelines of Template Usage
We put a lot of time and effort into producing these templates, videos, and blog posts. Please do not distribute the template you have purchased from Makesupply. It’s not cool and hurts our feelings (CRY EMOJI). However, you are free to do whatever you want with the end product you create using the template design. Even sell them on Etsy!
