Leather Selection
The leather we suggest for making your hotel key depends on where you’re doing a 2 layer stitched, or, single layer. If you’re doing a single layer of leather, we suggest a thicker piece of vegetable tanned leather (medium firm – firm) in the 7-9oz range.
If you’re going to be a stitched version like you saw in the video, we suggest thinner leather, 3-4oz (1.2 – 1.6mm).
Guidelines of Template Usage
